All Festival Long
The Down Under Fest is committed to keeping the kiddos entertained so that Mum and Dad can have fun too. Our aim is to educate them to the point of exhaustion.
The first 500 kids through the gate will receive a free Down Under Fest “Passport.” As they visit each section of the event, they will get a “stamp” in their passport. When they have answered all the questions, coloured in the pictures and gotten all of their stamps, bring the “Passport” – and the child – to the Souvenir Tent to get their free gift.
Activities include: Throwing a boomerang, designing and playing a didgeridoo, a mini dinosaur dig, learning to perform the HAKA, paint a dot art masterpiece, slip down the inflatable slide until your bum is numb, see a kangaroo, kiss a lamb in the petting zoo, kick a football (Aussie style), watch cattle dog demos and learn why SANTA wears shorts and thongs (flip flops) instead of fur lined boots.
