Netball America are coming to the Down Under Fest!

Have you ever seen Netball?  Well now is your chance!!

Netball is similar to basketball although the rules, equipment and team numbers are slightly different.  There is no dribbling and no running with the ball, there are 7 players per team and the ball must be passed in 3 seconds.  The ball and basket are slightly smaller and there is no backboard. Each player is designated to certain areas of the court.

University Team USA will be playing an exhibition against the Southern Region USA representative team as they prepare for the World University Championships in South Africa in July.

Throughout Down Under Fest, the Netball players will be teaching you how to play this unique rapidly growing sport.   Come along and join in the fun!!
